AUEB Sports Analytics Group organizes an annual conference dedicated to all topics where mathematics and sports meet.

AUEB Sports Analytics Workshop & Conference 2025 (SAW 2025), the 9th in the series, is scheduled as a live event at Athens University of Economics and Business, Department of Statistics on Monday 5 & Tuesday 6 of May 2025.

The workshop will be accompanied by a live 9-hour short course on Football Analytics, to be held on 7–9 May 2025. It will be delivered by Professors Ioannis Ntzoufras, Dimitris Karlis, Leonardo Egidi, and Sports Video Analyst Vasilis Armatas (Olympiacos FC Academy)

A second virtual course on Basketball Data Science of 9 hours (7-9 May 2025) by Professor Paola Zuccolotto and Marica Manisera (University of Brescia). The course will be commented by Dr Christos Marmarinos
